How Halftone stays sharp at any size
Why we redraw the dot screen every frame instead of baking it into the clip.

Halftone looks simple: dots that get bigger where the picture is darker. The trick is keeping it crisp when you resize the frame.
Redraw, don’t bake
Gloss samples the clip at a low resolution and redraws the dots for the size you export, so a square post and a 4K banner both stay sharp.
Because it is live, the dial for dot size works while the clip plays.
